Portland Business Journal staff reporter recently took a moment get an update with Zapproved CEO, Monica Enand. Legal industry software maker Zapproved started 2015 with a foot on the gas with a significant capital investment and an acquisition. More than halfway through the year, things are full steam ahead. Since the beginning of the year, momentum is going strong. Zapproved has moved into new offices in the Pearl, grown to 64 employees (it had 39 at the end of last year) and landed in the No. 15 spot on the Portland Business Journals’ list of the 100 fastest-growing private companies.
Malia caught up with CEO Monica Enand to talk about Zapproved’s growth trajectory where they touched on four major areas:
- Hiring – Two major additions to its executive team
- Customers – Added many Fortune 100 and Federal agencies
- The platform – Strong partnership with AWS and traction by industry analysts such a being named a “vendor to watch” in the 2015 Gartner Magic Quadrant for E-Discovery
- Investors – K1 Investment, brings a wealth of educational support and mentorship for scaling the company
