Business Continuity Planning
Each year, Zapproved reviews and revises our Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plan to help ensure organizational stability and stability of our services customers rely on. As part of that plan, we consider how we would recover if something were to happen impacting our ability to deliver our services, such as with a pandemic outbreak. Our considerations include both technology and people disruptions.
Proactive Steps
Starting in March of 2020, we have been preparing the organization for potential impacts from the COVID-19 outbreak. We have provided education to employees on the signs and symptoms of this virus, engaged in deeper cleaning of our facilities, and have implemented a remote working model. Our Executive Leadership Team has been closely monitoring major announcements from the state, national, and global level to be aware of any changes, alerts, or warnings.
Perseverance
Zapproved plans for these types of events so that we can be better prepared when they occur. We are well equipped with communication and collaboration systems to be fully productive during this time. The COVID-19 pandemic could test many organizations’ ability to deliver their services, both structurally and financially deliver their services. We have made our best efforts in financial forecasting, vendor due diligence, employee staffing, and cloud infrastructure utilization to provide consistency in our services.
